Mike’s Mexican Restaurant

Mike’s Mexican restaurant in Pattaya – Jomtien Beach is, in my opinion, the best Mexican food in Thailand, the very least, the best Mexican in Pattaya / Jomtien area.  With the discovery of Mike’s, I have one less reason to visit America.

Accepting the fact that Mike’s Mexican restaurant does not serve true Mexican food (most don’t), I would categorize the food as American style or Tex-Mex, which I prefer anyway.

Great service, Free WIFI, and even salsa dance lessons make this an enjoyable stop for some good Mexican food.

I should also mention their great margaritas.  Not for the faint, these margaritas not only taste great, but Mike puts enough tequila in them that you feel like you just had a great margarita.  Not a lime juice surprise, to be sure.  On the rocks or blended, with or without salt, Mike’s margaritas are a must have with any menu selection.  Don’t forget to order the take-home six-pack of margaritas.  These sit in my freezer, but are never frozen.

Also in his menu is a nice selection of Tex-Mex dishes, guacamole dips, chips, salsa, etc.  Unless your Thai girl likes Mexican or Tex-Mex food, probably should drop her off at a Thai food place since Mike’s Mexican restaurant does not serve Thai food.
